Our Approach

Third Space Ventures is committed to advocating for the dignity and self-determination of First Nations people through our integrated services across four domains.

Our purpose-driven projects are designed to amplify community capacity through culturally respectful initiatives, while our disability support services combine traditional cultural values with practical assistance to promote independence.

We also offer a consulting practice to guide organisations in forming ethical partnerships with First Nations communities.

Our progressive and dynamic not-for-profit organisation, is committed to revitalising cultural sovereignty, leadership development, and fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer.

In all our endeavours, we strive to create spaces where traditional wisdom converges with contemporary approaches, maintaining cultural integrity while addressing immediate needs for sustainable community transformations.

This fusion of ancient wisdom and modern strategies not only preserves cultural identity but also invites innovative solutions to contemporary challenges.

Our Guiding Values

Rooted in our ancestral wisdom and committed to our community's future, every action we take is guided by:

RESPECT | Honouring the dignity of all people, the wisdom of our Elders, and the sacredness of Country

RESPONSIBILITY | Upholding our obligations to community, culture, and the next seven generations

RECIPROCITY | Creating balanced relationships where giving and receiving nurture both people and place

SPIRIT AND INTEGRITY | Walking our path with authenticity, embodying our cultural truth in all we do

CULTURAL CONTINUITY | Safeguarding traditional knowledge while adapting to meet present challenges

EQUITY | Ensuring fair access to opportunities and resources for all community members

These values are not just words—they are the living principles that shape our decisions, strengthen our community, and guide our journey forward

We support participants in gaining more time with family and community, greater independence, and improved quality of life through services deeply rooted in Aboriginal values of spirit and integrity, cultural continuity, equity, respect, responsibility, and reciprocity.

  • Consulting Services

Our consulting practice supports organisations seeking to work effectively with First Nations communities. We provide culturally-informed guidance on co-design methodologies, Indigenous knowledge integration, and ethical partnership frameworks. Our consulting helps create sustainable models where cultural preservation and economic opportunity coexist harmoniously, supporting First Nations entrepreneurs, cultural tourism, and traditional resource management through culturally-appropriate approaches.

  • Not-for-Profit Work

Our charitable initiatives focus on cultural sovereignty and leadership development for First Nations communities. We facilitate truth-telling dialogues, support intergenerational knowledge transfer, and create spaces where traditional wisdom is honoured and preserved. These programs prioritise community healing, relationship building, and the strengthening of cultural identity, ensuring First Nations voices are seen and heard with dignity.

The Third Space is a unique space that values and thrives on inclusivity, reciprocity, cooperation, and common ground.

Recognising the need for belonging, shared language, and access to broad and innovative ways of learning and doing for growth and change, the third space is a distinctive and unique environment where diverse perspectives, cultures, and knowledge systems intersect to create something new and transformative.

The third space creates opportunities for different perspectives and experiences to intersect, creating innovative solutions that value all contributions.
